As a note yes the CPE's have a setting for preamble they MUST be the SAME as the AP or it just will not work.   As a note alex never said it was suggested to change in fact I noticed alex never really tells us exactly what to do he suggests trying certain solutions. The preamble change was suggested when someone asked what it was and he said that short preamble had better throughput but longer time to associate.   Chris
