Title: RE: Re[2]: [smartBridges] AirPointPRO TOTAL

Depends where you get the antennas from check the specs the hypers seem to stretch the 120 and 180's plus the hyper's are 20db instead of 13 but there quite more expensive, there 90's are actually the same as there 120's with more spread... Please note BE VERY CAREFUL WITH SELECTING ANTENNAS if your shooting in a valley or if there are hills around or big buildings try to avoid spreading a beam that will hit them and reflect back, reflected signal can cause your entire radio to misbehave and have noisey layers.

Actually, a 13db 90* sector means that right in front of the antenna will
have 13db gain and 45* to either side of center will have 10db gain (90* is
the -3db beam). The antenna actually has coverage to 120*. A 120* antanna
will cover to ~150*. Now none of this matters if you use three different
radios on three different channels. The only time it is important is when
you use 1 radio with a 3 way splitter.

are you planning on using one radio or three radios ? best to ask on the
[EMAIL PROTECTED] list for using one radio cause there are a few people doing
that, but three radios using dsss you can use three channels. But if three
120* sectors have overlap then two 180*'s do also, but I believe the db
level to be lower at the end lobes and shouldn't be a problem, three 90*'s
unless they are over will have null spots
