We have been waiting on word hopeing they would rework the case of all the radios
We don't have that many radios in the field testing 
We lost one on a 50' tower, the lightning came in on the 50' piece of non shielded cat 5 that was attached to the radio
We have two radios we have had to reset after a storm, suspect static voltages in the air, no shielding
 
They could easiely do away with the 6" piece of non shielded cat 5 hanging down from the radio and put the
jack inside the radio with a screw in umg that tightens up on the cat 5, they could spray the
cases with metalic paint
 
I don't know how much it would take, not much I would think, they need to increase the power to at least 100mw
I was told not to use amps, so far we haven't, but sometimes I think we need to
 
From the best we could tell, we had one aBO disassociating, but the new software fixed that

I have a piece of software I cant afford to buy yet and the demo is time limited. I keep resetting the date to make the software demo work. When I buy the software, which I'm gonna do when I get the money, the date and time will be correct. Till then....my own little time warp !

BTW - haven't seen one red cent of the grant money yet. But we did get the legal papers 8-7-03 to fill out and send back. Woh...ya wouldn't believe all the restrictions on the spending of this money! Not to complain... it is a half million dollars any way ya look at it.
