Place a router that separates the backhaul and the two APPOs away from each others so need a unit with 3 ethernet interfaces so you get separate legs. Also what type of traffic (kbps) are you pushing. How much is upload and how much is download. How many pps (packets per second) are you generating ? I help out a guy tonight and he was getting hit with 900pps+ but only pushing 250kbit but his network was in pieces. Got a stop on some of the packets at the router he had so it didn't kill his entire network just that wireless segment until he could contact the offending (partieS with capital S someone should shoot the kid that created msblast )
If you have a bandwidth shaper in there today how are you shaping your clients and how much bandwidth are you giving them ? What is the traffic load through it ? Sure it's running right ? If you have customers complaining about high ping times when they are doing a download.. well uhm got news for them if they use all their available bandwidth their ping time WILL run high. But if you have customers that don't generate any traffic get hit with high latency then either you have a problem or you have other customers that is using up all available bandwidth.
