Well I would think if it were MS Blast affecting my network I would see a lot of traffic from one or two clients ALL the time like any other worm trying to propagate itself??
I see 5-6 people all downloading at various speeds and the ones that are complaining are the people trying to get online to play a game or just do regular surfing and get very poor results. These people used to get great results and low ping times when playing games and surfing etc now really bummer :-( ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lars Gaarden" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, August 15, 2003 2:02 AM Subject: Re: [smartBridges] APPO furstrations.. That's one more reason for using routers - being able to drop this kind of traffic as close to the source as possible (and one more reason for bandwidth control at the client). Msblast could have been a lot worse, though. -- LarsG The PART-15.ORG smartBridges Discussion List To Join: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type subscribe smartBridges <yournickname> To Remove: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type unsubscribe smartBridges) Archives: http://archives.part-15.org The PART-15.ORG smartBridges Discussion List To Join: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type subscribe smartBridges <yournickname> To Remove: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type unsubscribe smartBridges) Archives: http://archives.part-15.org
