Hi Kevin,

the service that seems to first crash is chunter:

[ Jun 13 08:18:22 Executing start method ("/opt/chunter/bin/chunter start"). ]
[ Jun 13 08:18:22 Method "start" exited with status 0. ]
[ Jun 13 08:18:37 Stopping because all processes in service exited. ]
[ Jun 13 08:18:37 Executing stop method ("/opt/chunter/bin/chunter stop"). ]
Node '[email protected]' not responding to pings.
We died with exit code 1 but still exit properly

The prtconf -d output for the device is:

           pci1924,7207 (pciex1924,803) [Solarflare Communications SFC9020
[Solarstorm]] (driver not attached)
            pci1924,7207 (pciex1924,803) [Solarflare Communications SFC9020
[Solarstorm]] (driver not attached)

I am running version joyent_20160204T080230Z

Please note however that i was initially running a later version and i switched
back when i realised fifo had not been tested against this. Would i need to
repeat the installation?
Also, i had initially installed the release version of the services in the zone
and then i switched to the dev version due to the issues i encountered. I did
recreate the zones but chunter had been in installed in the GZ and i simply
installed the dev version on top. Do i need to repeat some steps?

Thanks,

Alex
