Hi Kevin / all . I have finally found the time to recreate my fifo installation using the dev release for everything and as its on the latest smartos image in the global zone i finally have my sola flare NIC working at 10G. So here is my problem now:
After i completed the installation i did not install metrics / grafana etc but wanted to first evaluate the basics. In the process i have created some VMs that i am actually using representing an AFP file server zone etc etc which all seems to work great and achieving fantastic speeds (and i haven’t yet configured my pools the way i intend to). So i thought great lets now install the metrics evaluation packages as described in: https://docs.project-fifo.net/docs/ddb-installation Everything went fine however as soon as i edited my sniffle, snarl and howl config files to point to the new DDB zone, i now login to FIFO and see nothing as if it was a new installation. If i login to DDB web UI i can see buckets for fifo (previous stuff) , tachyon (new) and dalmatinerdb (new and i guess the one in use). I am really hoping there is a way to mirror my assets to the new bucket and not start from scratch? after all my zones already exist and are fully functional. Any ideas?
