Try traveling with your iPhone. I've been in EU and Morocco and haven't had a bill under £170 this year, it's ridiculous. If you get a lot of email, I get all the emails from our website, you get nailed on data costs, even with bolt ons and such. 81p per minute for phone calls is just wrong in this day and age too.
I also went to America last year and ended up with a £650 bill as I had to keep changing my flight (13 times in all, found Santa Barbara :)) and calling the equivalent of an 0845 number to Virgin, which went through to India, which meant hour long phone calls. I thought it would be charged like a local call. They kindly halved the bill. Still ridiculous though. I've got skype on the iphone now, I haven't tried any calls on it from overseas yet though. Anyone done that? I assume you still have a data download with Skype. I should at least get an upgrade sooner rather than later.
