I get on with the 3 internet dongle on the south coast - as long as I
don't use the software. That seemed to crash on my macbook all the
time. I connect it like a modem.

I have just joined the group as I will shortly be moving to Hove where
I will be renting a flat
I bought a Macbook (aluminium cover and not a pro) at the start of
2009 and am planning to get a mobile broadband USB dongle to access
the internet
Does anyone in the group have experience of using a vodafone/O2 dongle
or any others? Is there anything anyone would recommend avoiding?
