Just a bit! Infact, I was going to ask the same here. When not on
wifi (and this is an ipod touch 2ng gen) everything is fine. When wifi
is switched on and a network is found, the battery is flat overnight.
Infact, it is the first time ever I have gone to turn it on in the
morning and nothing has happened and I have had to plug it in to charge
just to get it to switch on!
It is a bit of a bummer really.

I redid the update process - backed up phone, restored to original
settings and then restored from backup and have switched off and reset
numerous times but the battery does seem to deplete quite quickly.
Location services and Push are switched off.
