I am running out of space on the 640 GB HDD of my iMac Intel Core 2 Duo, so I need to empty the Trash and archive some photos and videos etc onto an external drive. Before I empty the Trash I want to make an archive copy of it on the external drive - just in case! But how do I do this? Where is the Trash folder on my local drive? I have searched for it in Finder without success! Is a copy of Trash stored in Time Machine - if so where?
