Hi Tony I think many people overlook Pages and it would be great if more tried it out.
I have used many word processors over the years and I do think that Pages is the best I've used. It is not perfect, nothing is, but the design is superb. I love the way, for example, you can so easily move sections and pages from one document to another. No other Word Processor that I know of has made this so simple. It means that if you write, like me, in several different documents at once, then you can just merge them to create the final one with great ease, all by just copying the thumbnails from one document to another. You can see these thumbnails by going to the "View" menu then to "Page Thumnails", this shows a vertical stripe on the left with the thumbnails. In Pages you can combine "Page Layout" and "Word Processing" documents as well, which is truly very flexible. These things can be achieved in MS Word, and Nisus Writer of course, but it is not done with the ease and simplicity of Pages.
