I came across this thread having just been trying to find a solution for remote access to a Mac running 10.3.9. (We can't update it to 10.4 because Apple screwed up Classic in 10.4, and the machine needs to run some software that falls foul of this.)

I excitedly checked TeamViewer - but it, like LogMeIn, requires 10.4 as the minimum OS for Mac. Does anyone know of a similar system that can work on 10.3.9 (in case it makes a difference, it's the machine that's being controlled that runs 10.3.9)?

Thanks

Ben

The free version of TeamViewer will work well. The remote person runs the job
and gives you the access code (by phone). Using that, you can run their machine
from a Mac or a PC. We use this a lot.

I have remote access on my machine and my son who lives in Australia can link
his Mac to mine.

I have a friend who lives locally and I want to be able to use remote access so
that I can help her when she is stuck. She is windows based.

What is the best way to do this?
Thanks
Shirley
