My recollection is that pre 10.4 (or possibly even 10.5) it was non-trivial to
set up behind firewalls etc.
The nice thing about logmein and the like is that they are designed that the
person at the 'controlled' end just needs to be able to point their browser at
a web site, not mess with anything more scary than that.
But if I'm wrong, and it should be easy to set this up with a 'controlled'
machine pre-10.4 - do please correct me!
