Yes, I have turned the iPad off and on again, several times. In fact, I have to
do that to stop the notice popping up.

While I am "talking" to SMUG, I would like also to ask: Does anyone know, on
the iPad, how to prevent the onscreen keyboard from popping up. Instructions
all over the internet say to go to "Ease of Access", but there is no such thing
on my iPad. There is "Accessibility", but that doesn't help.

All suggestions very much appreciated.

Hi Gilly,

Have you turned it off and on again?

If it won't let you, depending which one, there will be a way to force-restart
it which might help (google for your model of iPad)

Good luck!
