I would hope that she (the lawyer) would be required to
prove her allegations. In fact, that has happened in other trials where
one side smeared the other without evidence and every one I've heard about the
jury took it out on the ones doing the baseless smearing. If she doesn't
have evidence to back it up the jury in this case is very likely going to eat
her alive. If for no other reason that the jury pool they are pulling from
is already pre-disposed to finding him guilty in the first
place.
