The sierra.c module in the recent 2.6 kernels works quite well. For that matter, the PCMCIA cards emulate a USB hub, and both PCMCIA and USB present a trio of UARTS over that bus (via sierra.c), of which only the first is really useful right now. They're reportedly working on opening up the out-of-band management over one of them to non-Windows applications. > This would be the easiest option, since I can buy one directly from > AT&T. They probably have them at the local retail stores. Support and availability are always real considerations, particularly if you're building this for someone other than yourself. _______________________________________________ Soekris-tech mailing list [email protected] http://lists.soekris.com/mailman/listinfo/soekris-tech
