Hi Gian, thanks a lot for your help and ideas. After some analysis I'm afraid things are much simpler: feed a 10 kc sine wave into both channels of the sound card. Directly, no sdr receiver or whatsoever. Look at the time domain signal. There are two exactly identical traces, butone is off one sample relative to the other.
Still the question is: now what? Are there any sdr programs around where I can offset one channel by one sample? Would this solve the problem? Or am I completely off track? Regards, Walter
