My starting point was linux, and - more or less - accidentally I ported it
(as said using mingw and msys) to windows (I just happened to stumble across
the Qt set for windows).

Under linux I did quite a lot of profiling, eventually that lead to the
conclusion that indeed FFTW is "the" fastest in the world, and that C++
complexes are fairly expensive.

Currently I am trying to understand adaptive filtering for inclusion.

I had no idea winrad is open source, when I bought the elektor card I used
it for a while, but after a short while I had my own software running. I
will definitely look into it.
