Hi Matthias,

The main problem (possibly softdevice related so hopefully not OT) was
that whenever the OSD was initiated, there would appear large sections
of black space and also dotted lines at the top and bottom of the
letterbox picture. They would disappeer soon after the OSD vanished.

I felt bad rubbishing the name of those Gentoo ebuilds when I hadn't
really put the effort into testing them. I love Gentoo!
