Me too. It would be a waste to watch low-bitrate DVB streams on such
a big screen. The MPEG and JPEG artifacts are clearly visible.
A used one would probably do for me. I think I would have to build a
IR transmitter to avoid having to use a second RCU. Currently, my monitor
is powered up by a solid-state relay driven from the RS-232 port of the PC.
TVs usually need to be powered up by RCU after getting mains power, and
they may also need to be switched to the AV channel.
