Hey Juan,

Are you using ICE instances?  I worked on something use ICE instances, all
cached out.  When reading cache for rendering, we had to 'remind' ICE which
Instance it was using by plugging in SetInstanceGeometry again.  Then the
colour attribute fed through into the RenderTree.
