Hi, It's a bit unpredictable though though, it gives you number ticks at regular intervals but not locked to seconds, just to whatever ticks it can fit comfortably on the timeline.
It would be nice to tell it to number 1 second, or every 5 seconds (with 1 second ticks between). Also, it would be nice to be able to specify the same with frames, e.g. every 60 frames with 10 frame ticks between. The display might get a bit kludged up sometimes, but I'm a grown up I can handle it. You could use the Viewport slate for more Custom readouts as well of course. I've switched on the Display Time option in the Camera Visibility -> Stats option anyway which makes it a it easier to read. Cheers, Adam. ________________________________ From: Sven Constable <[email protected]> To: 'Adam Seeley' <[email protected]>; [email protected] Sent: Sunday, 30 September 2012, 14:30 Subject: RE: Timeline ticks - custom spacing Preferences-->Display->Time display format. (or any other custom amount in a similar way to how the viewport's grid settings are defined). I'm shifting between different FPS's and would like a timeline so I could see where exact seconds fall rather than trying to jump between multiples of 25, 30 & 60... I'm hoping it's an obvious option that I've just never needed before. Many thanks, Adam.
