Manual says: "Implicit textures do not have explicit UV coordinates that you
can edit in the texture editor. Instead, the projection is defined by a
mathematical formula."

Rendermapping need UVs. Therefore you can't rendermap implicit projections.
You can move UVs in the TE and see it in the viewport but when rendered,
mental ray projects the texture regardless of the manual UV tweaking.
Basically it's a mental ray extra-feature. It can't be rendermapped because
no UVs are used.

Subject: Baking Implicit Projections

Hi, everyone. I can't create rendermap from a implicit projection.
Each rendermap that is baked is completely black, I have adjusted many
properties, in hopes one of the images baked would work. I've searched for
a solution and the only thing I find is how to use rendermap in Softimage.
Thank you for your help.
