Answering your question Stephen.

We were on a tight schedule and not much time to comp multipass.  The
Redshift main pass came out so well and clean, that we decided to go with
it.  We only had 1 day for rendering and comp the background with the vapor
and deliver.  So the less we would need to do in comp the better.
