in case people didn't get my remark here: not only is the Avid user
interface some of the most offensive crap in the world, when Avid bought
Softimage XSI it was already in beta and the design in the works for years.
 It was a year and half from shipping. That said, there *was* a slight Mac
influence in the early inspector design, only in the sense that it's called
an inspector and that it's modeless.  but I think he guy is making the
remark about the custom file browser and the general skin of the app.
