Unfortunately people seldom learn from history. The parallels are uncanny. 5 or so updates later FCP X is a decent system compared to launch. The problem is most people have moved on. They didnt listen to what their users needed and they delayed their new gen Mac pro to long. Budgets have to be spent and most of them were on non apple machines and Avid and Adobe software. As some folks know I am a big Apple fan but that left me shaking my head and wondering what the hell they were smoking.
