Hello, from the Great Wet North Puzzling and Dangerous Situation! Replaced Swing-Arm Bushings for Brass ones. In the process found 2 Rear Wheel bearings chewed, those on the Sprocket side. The inner one of the 2 had 3 ball bearings missing. The 3rd bearing, the one on the Disc side, the outer, inner race seal chewed. The last one in no better shape. Rear Wheel Bearings were replaced due to similar failure 3000 miles, (5000 Km) ago.
Bike History: CB750 F 75 with CB750 F2 77 Front Trees down to dual disc brake and wheel. Also rear single disc brake with wheel and swing arm. Rear Sprocket teeth: ? Drive Sprocket teeth: ? Both Sprockets check OK for wear. Chain thrashed, stretched on one side. Chain: "O" ring chain D.I.D. 630 I only ride it about 25 miles, (40Km) one way to and from work. On paved country roads along the South Shore of Lake Erie, Ontario, Canada. BTW, I always Torque everything to Spec if any. What could be wrong or what did I miss and what do I check for. Kind Regards, Bob Ward SOHC/4 #1578 CB750F 75 (Mod. F2 77)
