It had gone a hundred times better than she had anticipated, and Kitanya
was pleased to be talking to a reasonable and honorable person for a
change.  She was getting jaded from dealing with the incompetant fools that
were so prevalent in her own department.  But that was going to change
soon, wasn't it.

"Excellent, Admirrral.  I can have it forrr you within the week."  She set
her glass down after a sip.  "I am most pleased you agrrree with me.  The
job Admirrral Lasiterrr has chosen me forrr is much larrrgerr than I think
even he anticipated."  Her department was a shambles, and she was the one
he'd given the broom to.  "This will make it much easierrr, if the fleet
admirrrals don't put a hit out on me," she joked.
