>"As for Admiral Lasiter, he does, indeed, tend to present challenges to
>his staff," t'Llhweiir continued cryptically. "Perhaps this will serve as
>a beginning for better relations between our departments and as an example
>to others."
"I most cerrrtainly hope so," agreed Kitanya.
>She picked up her menu. "Are you ready to dine?"
"I am," she replied, taking up her own menu. Kitanya, unlike most
Caitians, had not taken to vegetarianism. Her clan relished the hunt, even
though they could only get away with it by claiming it was a religious
practice, and meat was a staple. That she was raised partially by Klingons
also had something to do with it. She ordered a Klingon dish, marinated
pipius claw, and a cup of tea for after dinner.
(care to order?)
As they waited for their meals, Kit spoke up. "So how long have you known
Matt?" she asked, by way of casual conversation.

A little girl asked her father, "Daddy? Do all fairy tales begin with
'Once Upon A Time'?"
He replied, "No, there is a whole series of fairy tales that begin with
'If elected I promise'."
