Shaking the President's hand Lasiter bid his farewells.  "Not at all, sir, and thank you sir."  Then turning to the other guests of the President.  "Mr. Secretary.  Ms. Sinclair."

After leaving the oval office, Lasiter was silent but in a good mood.  His security detail around him while he left the building.  Once outside, Lasiter took a few minutes to walk in the gardens outside.  He felt the need to relax, not that he was stressed from the meeting, just a general urge that he had to satisify before going back to the station.  That and he wanted a peacefull place to digest just what he had heard, and what he wanted to do about it.  He walked, deep in thought for about 10 minutes or so before one of his shadows broke in.

"Admiral Lasiter, sir.  We should be getting back to Spacedock."

"Yes, that we should.  Very well then..." Lasiter replied as he turned to follow the guards to their beam-out location.  Afterall, one can not just beam anywhere they wish around the President...

Upon their arrival to SPD, the guards present snapped to attention as Lasiter came through.  "Lasiter to SPD Operations.  I am back on the station.  Please log me as such."

That done he headed to the large conference room that was used to hold SF Command meetings....
