cooperative," replied Dais. "I must admit that this will be my first
arrest. I know that we will have to present the warrant and read Miranda,
but is there anything else I should now to expect?" asked Dais as he started
walking toward the Bajoran Embassy.
"Normally this would be easy, their government would pull the immunity, and
then we would arrange for him to turn himself in. Since this is not a
normal case, I would expect that they will try all manners of tricks to
prevent us from taking him. If need be we will call security for a squad
and take him by force, but we should avoid that at all costs. If you have
any diplomatic skills, you can expect them to be tested."
Dais nodded. It all made sense to him. He was curious to see how the
Bajorans would react. This had not been the most smooth of interactions
with them.
"I think that we will be OK if we can get to our man quickly. If we can get
him to leave the Embassy before the Chief of Staff is able to put up a fuss,
there is really not anything that they can do about it.
