She raised an eyebrow at that one, but still she said nothing.

Upon reaching her office, she turned towards the reporters.  Her bearing
suggested that it was she who was in command of the situation, not the
reporters.  She held up a hand, gesturing for quiet, then waited patiently
until she got it.  "Gentlebeings," she said, "I will say only that Dr.
Brennan and I value our privacy.  Whatever the nature of our personal
relationship, it falls within the boundaries of that privacy.  If you have
any questions about Star Fleet activities, I will be glad to address them
or refer you to someone who can address them.  Beyond that, I ask you to
respect our rights to privacy."
