>"I came here to tell you the obvious, that you have made a very
influential rival, and potiential enemy. Kettering will not take this
lightly, and while delayed for the short term, he will have a plan to deal
with you. You being his only really serious competition in the faction,
at
least up until this point. I have also come here to say that while I
liked
what you had to say, I can not support you. A bond of loyality is owed to
Kettering, and I can not break that. While I will not support you, my
sense of personal honor or moral compass will not allow me to support him
either. This leaves me on the neutral ground, pushing beings to think
about all options, and the ramifications of each decision....", he opened
up the convesation in the most sincere of ways.
She nodded. "I apprrreciate both yourrr honesty and yourrr integrrrity,
Admirrral. Loyalty is harrrd to come by - it's a shame Admirrral
Ketterrring has abused it. I underrrstand and rrrespect yourrr decision,
and I thank you forrr telling me of it in perrrson. Just a worrrd of
caution though; being the neutrrral is usually the harrrdest place to be
in
as you take heat frrrom both sides. Forrr my parrrt, though, I will trrry
to limit any prrroblems frrrom my
side."
"You don't need to worry about me. What ever heat I take, I probably deserve. Just
do what you have to do. Kettering may have given the opertunity, but it was I that
made the most of them and accomplished what I have. That is something that he can
take away, nor ignore. I would like to ask this, if at all possible, look after
Samuel for me. I do not think he will fare will in this. While he is the consumate
planner and strategist, is not popular nor is he necessarily respected. His pride may
get in the way. If possible give him a soft landing."
