> >Kitanya looked at him with new eyes. For all their troubled past, he
really did love his brother. She sat forward in her chair slightly. "I
prrromise, on my honorrr as a Mikan, I will do all that I can to make
surrre he comes out all
>rrright."

>"Thank you, Admiral. Then I wish you the best of luck." he said
standing.

"Thank you," she said, nodding her dismissal. "Take care of yourrrself."

>He left as quietly and politely as he came.

She got up and stuck her head out the door, looking for Aurelius, who she assumed
would be hanging about waiting to talk to her.

He was there, chatting with the aide waiting to speak with the boss.

"Could you come in herrre, please?" she asked, then went back inside and sat on the
corner of her desk.

"Yes sir.", Aurellius said following the boss inside her office.

"So, let me guess, you want to know what the hell happened last night, and I want to
know what's been going on this morrrning. Narrraht's so agitated I think we might
have to rrre-plate the deck behind his desk afterrr today, so obviously therrre has
been some interrrest in my activities."

"You would be very correct, sir. Naraht and I have been fielding *lots* of calls from
officers insising to speak with you. I have also been taking calls from staff
officers looking for some off the cuff information about your interest in the CinC's
chair. Is there something that I should know?"
