Serana had been through too much by this point to even want to argue or
explain to Carlisle. "Emergency medicine isn't exactly the field for an
epidemiologist," she pointed out, "but if you want to take over Admiral
Garibaldi's care so I can go back to my quarters, you're more than welcome."
"I know enough to be able to monitor his condition and provide basic care until a
specialist either becomes available or is required. You need rest, Doctor, and will
be of little use to yourself or to any patients that fall under your care. Now go.
Besides, you have a child that has missed you. We'll manage for a time."
