He entered Celana's room to find...
The ambassador was in a miniature regeneration chamber, a strange, aquatic chamber filled with water. It looked like an odd photon torpedo tube, with a green and blue, eerily organic pattern on its surface. It was very weird-looking, and had no visible power source. It had been provided by Serana D'amondra, but only for emergency purposes. There were no visible control panels or displays, but there was a viewing window.
As Carlisle drew nearer, the hull changed pattern, and then a long, tentacle-like appendage morphed out of the center of it. The bulb-like end was tilted towards Carlisle, as if it were a head or a large eye. It did nothing, except it seemed to be either looking or waiting expectantly.
