(ooc: i know y'all forgot this npc, but i'm about to resurrect her.)

Cax'Pa Nabru was not surprised that she had received no new orders. After all,
her missions were not normally the type that came through regular channels.
She simply "disappeared" for periods of time that she strongly suspected would
never be explained in Star Fleet records.

Nabru's orders usually came directly from Adm. t'Llhweiir. The silence
suggested that either her role in the current crisis had not been defined or
that it would be of such a nature that the admiral would only communicate the
orders under highly secure circumstances.

That meant she was a "free agent," so to speak, for now. She tried to relax,
but she found that relaxing only allowed her time to think, and she did not
like the direction her thoughts were taking. She was restless, but she was
surprised at the cause of the restlessness. Unlike others who had suffered
loss during the attack, she had lost no one.

That was because there was no one for her to lose.

She had no family that would claim her, and she was never anywhere long enough
to make the kind of friends for whom she would grieve. For some reason, this
disturbed her as it had never disturbed her before.

Uttering a vile curse, she jammed on her boots and strode from her quarters.
She had to get out of this foul mood and quickly. Perhaps she could find
somebody to toss back a few.

Nabru went to Liridian's assigned quarters and pushed the annunciator.

(ooc: anybody home?)

Nabru ends
