The reply came back, requesting a Federation
escort. While it seemed evident that Starfleet vessels wouldn't fire on
the ambassador's ship, a rogue citizen on the fringes of Federation might
be liable to take a well-meaning pot-shot at the ship, causing all manner of an
intergalactic incident...
