>"Very good then.  How about at 1900 hours?"

"That would be acceptable."

>"Until then, Thro'la T'landran.  We will be pulling out of orbit in 5 minutes.  Please make any final preparations.  We will be cruising at warp 7.4.  Moore out."

"Waverunner out."

>True to his word, exactly 5 minutes later the ships pulled out of orbit at one half impulse.  As soon as they cleared the gravity well of the planet, the trip went to warp 7.4 for the trip to earth.

The Waverunner matched the Federation ships in speed, remaining in its positin at wing.  Behind it, the ambassador's personal ship was in tow.  Unlike the sleek, silvery profile of the Waverunner, the ambassador's ship looked very much like Celana D'amondra's ship, the small green ship with a nondescript, benign profile.   Otherwise, there were no other ships accompanying the Waverunner.  A close scan of the ship, however, would show that the Waverunner housed 4 small short-distance fighters which were ready to zoom out of their docking bays at a moment's notice.

At 1900 hours, the communications officer of the Waverunner signalled that the ambassador was standing by.
