>"Thank you for not judging me for what I do," she said softly. It was a
>thought that had tugged at her all evening, and she needed to say it.
>
>"I try and judge people for who they are inside, not what they might be
>at first glance, Katya," he said with a warm smile. "You may not realize
>it, but there is a flame inside you that is fueled by compassion. It is
>not overriden by what you do. It only tempers what you do to keep you
>grounded."

>"It was a flame I thought long extinguished. Thank you for showing me
>that the embers still glowed, and for fanning them back into a flame."
>She stepped back to him and kissed his cheek softly. "You are a better
>healer than you know, Caimlyn Shainenevich." With that, she turned and
>left.

Caimlyn watched as the doors shooshed close behind Katya. He was surprised by her
final statement. He had never considered himself a healer, but it was clear what he
had said had provided a great deal of comfort. He was glad. While she was reserved,
she seemed to have so much to share with them. He was looking forward to getting to
see her native homeland.

He made his way over to the bed, and threw in the last few items he had not gotten
around to packing. Once he had done that, he made his way out the door and to the
Transporter Room.
