Caimyl extended his hands with his fingers spread apart. He twinged the muscles in his fingers, and a thin skin webbing pulled up to connect them. "We have these naturally as part of our anatomy, but we have created synthetic gloves and stockings for visiting tourists and dignitaries. You basically only need them when outside buildings in the undomed cities. We all live in sealed homes and buildings now that provide for air breathing while inside."

"Your technology must be extraordinary," she said.

"As for buoyancy, we have a number of systems for people to try that allow them to use something they are comfortable with. The most common is a series of weights that are distributed throughout the body. This allows for a more natural feel when you are moving so you are not bottom heavy. We also have simple breathers for people to wear."

She smiled. "I would like to see your homeworld someday, Caimlyn Shainenevich. It sounds beautiful."
