Caimlyn could not help but blush at the response.  While he knew
nothing more was intended than simple courtesy, it was the first time he
had been asked to be a guest in a woman's home.  "I believe I am on
leave.  While I have been transferred over to Special Operations, I have
not yet been given any orders to report in.  I think I would like to take
you up on your generous order."

"I would think after this mission you would have earned some time off,"
she said.  "Let me go get my things," said Katya as she stood.  "I will
meet you in the transporter room and we can beam to the platform in St.
Petersburg.  My home is only a short hovercab ride away."

Caimlyn nodded. He had already packed his things.  He just had to grab his bag and head over to the transorter room.

Katya stopped as she reached the door.  "Caimlyn," she said.

He glanced toward her to see what she wanted.  Her voice carried a quieter, calmer tone than he was used to hearing from her.

"Thank you for not judging me for what I do," she said softly.  It was a
thought that had tugged at her all evening, and she needed to say it.

"I try and judge people for who they are inside, not what they might be at first glance, Katya," he said with a warm smile.  "You may not realize it, but there is a flame inside you that is fueled by compassion.  It is not overriden by what you do.  It only tempers what you do to keep you grounded."

(Katya?)
