Aravis had been about to respond to the ursoid's question when he started addressing the station's CO. She was not sure what he meant about the rats, but she did not think she liked the comment about the antidote. She would wait to throttle him until she was positive he was insulting her.
Commander McTiernan had been about to respond when Knucklebiter cut him off.
He put his paw to his belly area and turned his head away from everyone. "BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKK!" sounded as he belched."Yep, definitely need an antidote."
McTiernan fought back a gimace of discust. "Er ... I can bring you down to the medical bay and see what we can do for you, Mr. Knucklebiter." The station's CO was not really sure how to handle the situation. He was kind of hoping that the team would get right to work on their mystery, but it seemed that the belly of the ursoid had other things in mind.
"Do you have any readings from during the event I can look over while we go to Medical?" asked Knucklebiter.
McTiernan nodded. We constop by my office on the way to the to the bay to pick up a PADD if you would like," he replied. "We have sensor readings taken from here on the station as well as from the missing runabout itself ... before it disappeared."
"Has there been any indication of the return of the 'eye' since your team disappeared," asked Aravis," who was clearly going to be joining the group on its way to the medical bay whether she was invited or not.
(response?)
