Daphne made her way over to one of the seats facing the Caitian and made herself comfortable. "It went surprisingly well. I teamed up with Captain Tr'Lawsh of the Caitian Defense Force. She has proven to be invaluable in the investigation."
"I don't know herrr, but given such a positive rrreview, I'll send a note to herrr superrriorrs." Kit was a firm believer in rewarding excellence. "What did you learrrn?"
"It seems that these felinids may be a branch of the Caitian family tree. It is likely that their ancestors were somehow abducted from among the Caitian population before being genetically alterred and turned into a slave, fighting force by their 'masters.'" It was not good news to be passing along, but it was what they found.
"I'm awarrre of all that," she said. It was information already in the reports. "Did you learrrn anything new?"
"They seem to dedicated to their 'masters', but there may be an underground movement for the felinids to start expressing their independence."
That got the admiral's attention, and she cocked her head, ears swivelling fully forward. "Arrre you surrre?"
(resp?)
"Given what you know so farrr, how farrr along do you think this movement is, and what do you think ourrr best courrrse of action is to assist it?"
(resp?)
