"I have to admit that it has been a bit of an adjustment to this new type
of assignment. I can definitelysee how people would miss the adrenaline,
but the change in scenery is no excuse to lose your edge and not do a good
job. We are trained Starfleet personnel and should find challenge in
whatever assignment we have been given."

Kitanya was surprised to hear the party line, and sensed a little bit of
unhappiness, which concerned her. "I wasn't talking about people in
generrral, Commanderrr. My people arrre too valuable to see unhappy orrr
frrustrrated. Happy people arrre morrre efficient, and in ourrr business,
arrre saferrr. Starrrfleet and the Federrration spent 1.4 million
crrredits prrroving that, even though everrryone alrrready knew it." She
rolled her eyes. "Frrom my own experrrience, I know most people know
immediately if they don't like an assignment. Commanderrr, if you arrren't
happy herrre, please tell me. I'd rrratherr you be in an assignment
wherrre you will find fulfillment, than wherrre you feel stagnant."

Daphne understood what the Admiral was trying to say. She was not quite willing to
give up on this project. "While I must admit I am not used to being an investigator,
I am enjoying working with Captain Tr'Lawsh. I would like to see the investigation
through. I am just more accostumed to undercover work."
