Daphne understood what the Admiral was trying to say. She was not quite willing to
give up on this project. "While I must admit I am not used to being an investigator,
I am enjoying working with Captain Tr'Lawsh. I would like to see the investigation
through. I am just more accostumed to undercover work."

"You will get it in this job, Commanderrr. I have plans forr you. But rrright now,
these felinids arre the most immediate thrrreat, and we must get what inforrmation we
can to aid the efforrrts on that frrront. On that note, I want to know how you would
feel if I asked you to do some interrrnal investigations, underrrcoverr operrrations
among Starrrfleet perrrsonnel." Internal investigations were the least coveted, most
despised, and it was not uncommon for people to refuse to take part in them. Kit
wouldn't push Daphne, but she hoped she was up for the challenge.
