It was clear that Chase did not want to keep going with that
conversation. He opted rather to change the subject. "Are there any
other things we should clear up about our plan?"Jaime shrugged. "I've been at this job one day. You probably have a better idea of what we need to do than I do."

"Look, I get the impression that Richard didn't give you any more to
work with than he did me."
"The more you work with him, the faster you will come to realize that
Richard likes to keep things close to the hip. He only gives you the
least amount of information you need to complete your assignment."
Chase almost felt bad for Jaime. He remembered what it was like when
he first started in the cell. It wasn't easy. He still couldn't say
that Richard really trusted him. "The good thing is that it gives us a
chance to really impress him."
"I'd be satisfied if he'd just cut me some slack. He only puts up with me because he needs James."(reply)
