It was obvious that Geb was not a Terran, and Joanna could sense his fondness for the nearby planet. "Were you stationed there before coming aboard?"

Geb dipped his head. "In a manner, I actually just graduated from Starfleet Academy. While I was there, I came to like Earth a great deal."

Joanna wwas impressed. It was not often that a fresh graduate was assigned to Spacedock. Geb's school record must have been impressive. "I remember my years at the Academy. I made a lot of friendships that have played major roles in my life."

Audra was impressed by the Counselor's ability to get Kebron to open up. For the most part, he had been reserved in her presence, but she had learned a great deal about him in the last few seconds they have been at the table. "I am a native to Earth, but I think that it is a special place where people from all over seem to congregate and interact. That makes it special."

Geb bowed his head. "From my limited experience, Earth is definitely unique," replied the Brikarian before turning to look at Joanna. "Where are you from originally?"

"I am a bit of a Fleet brat," replied the Counselor. "Both of my parents were Starfleet officers, so I grew up on my share of starships."

"It would seem that fate had a hand in your also being in Starfleet," replied the Brikarian. "Were they also in the medical fields?"
