"Mnhe'sahe left her no choice. The rest, as they say, is history. Matthew worked his considerable charm on her and before long, she no longer felt the need to relieve him of the burden of his life." She smiled fondly at the memory. "Rhiana was a powerful force. The changes he brought about in her were profound. He, too, is a force to be reckoned with, although he is clandestine about his powers."
